PROMOTE MAGAZINE was created with the goal of promoting and celebrating talented artists who often face challenges in getting their work noticed. As an artist myself, I understand the struggles that come with trying to promote your art.
For over 30 years, I've been promoting not only myself, but amazing talents I've come to know and work with in New York City, St John US Virgin Islands, Los Angeles, San Diego, and now Nevada.
All of my experiences working professionally as an award winning, multi-published artist, photographer, writer, performer and promoter...has led me to this moment! I wasn't referred to being "A Modern Day Renaissance Woman" by Music Connection Magazine for nothing!
From Co-Authoring "Sketch Card Mania" (Penguin Random House), and writing about the Art Of Self Promotion, to being the LA Cultural Examiner for 6 years writing articles and interviews spotlighting my favorite artists, to scouting, booking and promoting talent in 6 of my music festivals in the US Virgin Islands, producing and promoting multiple variety shows, comedy shows and events around Los Angeles, coaching and managing artists like my man Randy Martinez, to doing Promotion panels for artists at San Diego Comic Con, Dragon Con, Comicpalooza and much more...
