On June 8th Three years ago yesterday, I had an accident at work that forever changed my life.
I’ve been reflecting on what I’ve been through over the last 3 years, and it was pretty traumatic for me physically, mentally & spiritually!
I went to hell and back & ended up with a permanent disability that reminds me daily what I went through!
Living with Achilles Tendon injuries, CRPS, atrophy, arthritis, chronic pain…is not easy.
But I’ve learned how to live life one step at a time, manage the pain, rest when I need to and appreciate the good moments when I have them.
All I can do is be where I am, in this moment, and I’m in a good place, and grateful for where I am right now!
One of my favorite quotes by Eleanor Roosevelt says “Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. And today? Today is a gift. That’s why we call it the present”.
Thank you everyone who has followed me on my journey! I appreciate your continued love & support!
